Where Did They Live And Where Did They Spend Most Of Their Day: The slaves of ancient china weren't rich enough to own their own house so if they weren't owned by a noble they would sleep in the streets if they were city slaves. If they were country slaves they would have to sleep in the paddocks amongst the crops or even the dirty cattle. They spent their whole day working, dusk till dorn. If they lived in the country they would work alongside the peasants in the field and if they lived in the city they might be working on building a new road the whole day without a rest. The slaves that served a noble or the emperor would tend to their masters needs and attend to any duty that their master might have set for them to complete. So no matter where you worked or what work you did, most of the slaves would spent the whole day working hard.
What Did They Eat, Wear, And What Possessions Did They Have: Their meals were extremely basic compared to the massive banquets that the nobles and the emperors would consume. They would normally consist of rice, wheat noodles, millet, steamed bread and bean curd. And most of the time there wasn't enough to share around and so some of the slaves had to go without food. The clothes that they wore were normally made of linen and were very uncomfortable and itchy and to make things even more uncomfortable they didn't keep the wearer of these clothes very warm at all and so most of the slaves would be as cold as an ice cube during the wet season. They were also made so that the colour of these clothes were extremely bland and boring to show how low their social static was. As for their possessions, well the didn't really have many apart from their horrible clothes and usually tasteless food. Some of the lucky slaves might have had small lucky charms but all of their previous possessions were taken away from them.
